Let the holiday season commence!

At 10 weeks old, baby boy, Aiden Alexander, experienced his first holiday: Halloween! Despite his lack of comprehension of what was going on around him, I would like to think that he enjoyed himself. I know that everyone around him was certainly thrilled, especially mama.

Mama as a nautical pin-up and baby boy as Master Yoda, (Thank you grandparents, Laree and Mike.) I definitely wish more pictures were taken in our costumes. I may have to have a little belated photoshoot and when I do, I will make sure to update this post. The pictures that are currently up are actually of Aiden in his "My 1st Halloween" suit (Thank you great-grandparents, Edna and Robert.) Although, it is quite big on him (Still so adorable!), I had to dress him up in it, at least, long enough to just take a couple pictures. I mean, it was his first Halloween after all!

I absolutely love the holiday season! The beautiful Autumn leaves, the weather (It's really more of a love-hate relationship.), the traditions, the fashions, the holiday television specials (And I'm talking about the classics here!), holiday decor, COFFEE SHOP'S HOLIDAY SPECIALTY DRINKS! I could go on and on before my heart's content! What makes this holiday season so extraordinary however, is that Aiden is here to spend it with us. I am simply ecstatic! I can't even put into words how much I am looking forward to all of this. Can we say hello to holiday baby attire? Because I know I can and already am!

The month of November is the month of thanks or so I've been told. Which, when I think about it, isn't something that should be dedicated to only one month out of the year! I try to count my blessings daily, above all, in the most difficult of times. I honestly believe that all people should do the same. If nothing else, try. In any case, these are just a few things that I am beyond grateful for: family, friends, where I've been, where I am and where I'm going. I truly consider myself blessed with some of the best, period. 

This blog entry has taken me two days to complete and I'm rather glad it did. Within this two day process, I have managed to find a few more pictures of Aiden in his suit/costume. Now, I know that I am no earnest photographer, but more of a shutterbug. I don't have a state-of-the-art camera and any editing I do, I do on Photobucket, but I still think they look pretty good. Perhaps it's just my muse though...?
